by Kay~Kacey on 5/20/2009

plus the exciting announcement of May’s theme!!

The winner of April’s Photo of the Month was Tug, with her gorgeous flower!

Congrats, Tug. This was a wonderful photo!

Which leads me to our second place photo. Katie L’s wonderful black and white flower. Really it’s gorgeous. So much so that I’ve decided that May’s Photo of the Month Contest is Black and White Photos! I do so love black and white photos! Remember last year when we had the black and white challenge? I had a whole series of black and white photos of the boys here. Katie, if you haven’t seen them, you should look at them! They are all grown up…if males ever grow up. 🙄

Of course, Katie has already had such a lovely black and white photo…now she’ll have to try and outdo herself! I’ll post again towards the end of the month and you can send me your links to your photos then. But for now…go out and take some wonderful photos and convert them to black and white!

Thank you!

I love these contests; they help give me ideas, and I do learn from each of them, there are always such beautiful photos entered.

Off to find something to make B&W…..thanks again!

Wow- I feel so honored to be mentioned on your blog, lol 🙂 I checked out your B&W world- I love the shots of the boys. Seems like just yesterday when we were shoving each other off the dock… Can’t wait for May’s contest! I just did a B&W spread on my office wall. Love ’em!

Sweet Black and White! This will definitely get me out of the box and be challenging for me, as I’m always looking for bright, multi colored photos!
